Never thought I'd have one of these. I for one was never a networking person. I stayed away from internet exposure for as long as I could. Throughout high school all my friends and family had their Xanga, Friendster, Myspace, and whatever other blogging sites. I was always told that I should have one of these social internet connections, but I never really understood why anyone would want to share their life to the world. Heck, I didn't even have an e-mail address. I went through college much the same way, no internet networking site for me. All I needed was my handful of friends and that was good for me. I got my first e-mail address because it was required from my college professor.
So what lead me to this? It started with someone making a Facebook account for me because it was becoming difficult for my friends to get a hold of me. I was always out of the circle or the last one to know. Then one click lead to another and before I knew it... I was depending on the internet to find recipes for dinners, ideas for travel, deals and steals, tips and tricks for healthy body, mind and soul. The rest is history! And now I have a blog.
A word about the blog title. Honestly, I had the most difficult time coming up with a name... I still don't know why I chose it or how I came up with this, and it will remain as is. I'll treat this blog like I treat my moleskine... a place for messy, reckless scribbles and thoughts.
